My name is Dan Stockton and I am a guitar, bass, ukulele and keyboard tutor based in Cheadle Hulme. I offer one-on-one classical and contemporary music tuition in the familiar environment of your home. The majority of teaching materials are provided and are tailored to suit each students needs and way of understanding. All ages and abilities are welcome, although under 16s must have an adult present during lessons. I have been studying music since 1997 and have experience playing in classical orchestras, rock bands as well as solo performances on classical piano. I spent two years performing at weddings and functions across the country so I know what skills are necessary to become a competent musician. Whether you are looking to pick up a new hobby or want to save yourself from commuting through the evening traffic to a teacher, the service I provide may be exactly what you're looking for.
