The toddlers had lots of fun exploring the story Dear Zoo. They became fascinated by the different animals in the story and enjoyed moving around the room, pretending to be the animals themselves. We saw lots of animal movements, from stomping like elephants to crawling and moving like other animals.

To extend their learning and bring the story to life, the staff used a projector to display moving visuals of the animals on the wall. The children were encouraged to watch, explore and follow the animals as they moved around the room. The animals moved in ways similar to how they would in real life, which really captured the children’s attention and curiosity.

The toddlers were fascinated by the experience and enjoyed following the animals, copying their movements and exploring the space around them.

Our very own version of Glastonbury! 🎪🌈

Although the iconic festival may not have taken place this year, that certainly didn’t stop us from bringing the festival fun to Clarence House Day Nursery - Chatteris!

We danced, enjoyed lots of colourful face painting, explored bubbles and had plenty of laughs along the way. 💃🎨🫧

As we come to the end of a wonderful summer, we also want to take this opportunity to say a very special goodbye to our amazing preschool leavers. It has been an absolute pleasure watching you grow, learn and have fun with us, and we will miss you all so much. We wish you the very best of luck on your next adventure! 💕

We’ve had such a fantastic summer and can’t wait to welcome our returning families back on Monday 7th September (and some new faces too). For now, enjoy some photos from our lovely afternoon and have a smashing bank holiday weekend! We’ll be open again on Tuesday. 😊🏡❤️
