***Exciting News*** MVA & Macmillan's 'Year of Listening' Monthly Online Survey Programme Is Now Live & Ready For You To Take.
MVA are delighted to finally share with you that our first Monthly Online Surveys for the ‘Year of Listening’ Programme are now ready for you to take. With funding from Macmillan, MVA are delivering this exciting new listening programme across Medway & Swale, working in partnership with local Voluntary & Community Sector (VCS) organisations & residents.
The programme aims to engage with local communities and residents across the area to hear their stories and understand the barriers and challenges local people are experiencing in accessing local cancer, care, treatment and support services. At the end of the programme, these views will be shared with key decision-makers who have committed to taking action based on these insights.
There will be a new topic every month exploring three different areas of the cancer system and you can pick and choose which ones you want to do. This month’s survey is all about Cancer Prevention (so relevant to everyone not just cancer patients).
So, if you're passionate about making a difference and helping to shape future local cancer services, this is your opportunity to ‘have your say your way’.
Each survey will be 100% confidential and will only take a couple of minutes for you to complete and will capture critical insights for the development of future services.

What a great morning we all had on Friday with these fabulous people. The engagement team at Medway Maritime Hospital were excellent hosts accommodating MVA & Macmillan's 'Year of Listening' program coffee morning, which was held in recognition of World Cancer Day!
We couldn't have asked for a better group of local cancer clinicians and services who came along, from a wide range of support providers; and of course to MVA's volunteers and local residents who came to find out more about the 'Year of Listening' and cancer prevention and awareness.
You can watch a short video about the program here: https://youtu.be/9GLtkotf9HQ
Sound interesting? You can find out more about the 'Year of Listening' and join the conversation by contacting a member of the program team: [email protected] or visit the webpage: https://lnkd.in/e_Z-DWUJ
Thank you again to everyone involved and we very much look forward to continuing to work with you.
