Today saw our first cohort of Social Worker Degree apprentices graduate at Rochester Cathedral. Starting their programme in March 2020, these Kent based social workers have had a tough three years, but today they celebrated their success and are now newly qualified social workers. A huge well done to the staff in School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research, University of Kent and all the employers involved, including Kent County Council, Medway Council, WeAreWithYou and Kent Case Management.

One of our favourite times of the year is the Basic Science Summer School for the Level 5 Technician Scientist and Level 6 Laboratory Scientist apprentices. Our apprentices joined us at the University of Kent's campus this week to take part in learning and lab skills, as well as roundtable discussions on sustainability and green chemistry. And, of course, some all important socialising and networking!
Our apprenticeships offer a really flexible study method with apprentices joining two summer schools across the duration of the apprenticeship. To find out more, email our recruitment team: [email protected]
