This morning, our House Captains were fired up and ready to lead the charge! Each house has been busy crafting their own chants of encouragement for Sports Day. The big day is fast approaching but which house will be victorious? 🏆🟢🔴 🔵🟡

On Tuesday, Year 5 went to Wildwood as part of our Rainforest conservation topic. We learnt about rainforests all over the world, even temperate ones in the UK! We also saw lots of interesting animals, including bears, lynx, ravens, elk and Arctic foxes. The children were definitely braver than the adults when walking over the rope bridge! 🐻🌳🌟

Ahead of England’s first match tonight, Team Tunbury have already been showing their support in full force. With kick‑off being slightly past most bedtimes, we may see a few sleepy faces tomorrow. Come on England! 🦁❤️

On National Teachers’ Day, we want to thank all the amazing staff who support and teach our children — from teachers to teaching assistants and our MDMS 🌟
And we’re equally grateful to our premises and admin staff who quietly keep everything running in the background. Your work makes such a difference 💛

During STEAM Week, pupils were challenged to produce their own David Attenborough–style documentaries and did they deliver! From dramatic animal encounters to beautifully narrated nature scenes, the entries were outstanding. A huge well done to our class winners below - you made us proud! 🌿🦋

Special shout‑out to Jessica and Emilie for their fantastic videos - our KS1 and KS2 overall winners. Brilliant work from both of you!🌟

What a morning for Year 5! 🌟 As part of their Rainforests and Conservation topic, the children have been proudly caring for a group of Grey Partridge chicks — a species currently on England’s Red Endangered List. This morning, they finally got to meet the chicks up close. Judging by all the smiles, they absolutely loved it! ☺️🐣🌎

Last week, some of our Year 6 children took part in the Mini Youth Games Football Tournament ⚽️. Even with the soggy weather 🌧️, they gave it everything they had and kept smiling throughout. Out of 41 teams, they finished an impressive 21st 🎉. We’re incredibly proud of their determination and team spirit! 🌟

What an incredible STEAM Week we’ve had! 🌿✨
The children threw themselves into every moment — from outdoor adventures and hands‑on experiments to creative crafts 🐞🌳🎨
It was a week filled with discovery, teamwork and so much fun! 🌈🌤️🤩

Our STEAM Week turned into a full David Attenborough takeover! 🎥🦁Pupils picked an animal, captured its best “wild” moments 🐾and then turned their clips into mini‑documentaries with their own brilliant narration 🎙️. The finished videos turned out amazingly - our young filmmakers did an absolutely brilliant job🌿✨
These are just a handful of the videos… the rest are just as brilliant 🐾🎙️
