As another fantastic year at Tunbury draws to a close, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for all the kind cards, thoughtful gifts, and lovely messages we have received. Your generosity and support means so much to us.

This time of year always brings a mixture of pride and emotion as we say farewell to our Year 6 pupils and those members of staff who are beginning new chapters. We thank them for the memories they have helped create and wish them every success and happiness in the future.

To all the children, families, and staff who will be returning in September, we hope you enjoy a wonderful summer filled with fun, relaxation, and special moments. We can't wait to welcome you back and hear all about your adventures β˜€οΈ

Have a safe and enjoyable break! 🌟

Today we are saying goodbye to Mrs Davies after an amazing 4 years here at Team Tunbury! Mrs Davies started at Tunbury in September 2022 as our senco and then took on the role of DHT in October 2023. Throughout her time, she has shown her dedication for Team Tunbury through compassionate leadership, genuine care for others (both staff and pupils) and a sense of humour that has brought countless smiles along the way.

Though it is difficult to say goodbye, we are excited to see her embark on this next adventure and have every confidence that she will flourish as Headteacher, leading her new school with the same passion, care and dedication she has shown here.

The one and only - Mrs Davies! 🌟

⭐ Heroes and Heroines Day in Year 3! ⭐

On Friday, our Year 3 children came dressed as their heroes and heroines, and we were so impressed by the effort that went into their costumes! πŸ‘ The children looked fantastic and really embraced the day.

From vets and judges to scientists and footballers, we saw an amazing variety of inspiring role models. It was wonderful to celebrate the people who inspire our children to dream big! βš–οΈπŸ©Ίβš½

🌍✈️ Year R Takes Flight with Tunbury Airways! ✈️🌍

On Friday, our Year R children came to school dressed in clothes from around the world and embarked on an exciting journey!

The adventure began with the children creating their very own passports before making their way through passport control. After having their passports stamped and passing through security, they were ready to board their flight with Tunbury Airways. πŸ›«

Once on board, the children watched a safety video, settled into their seats, and enjoyed drinks and snacks throughout the flight. πŸ₯€Before long, their flight touched down safely in Spain! πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Έ

We were so impressed with their enthusiasm, creativity, and fantastic travelling skills. Well done, Year R – thank you for flying with Tunbury Airways! πŸŒŽπŸ’™βœ¨
