🌿 Summer Clear Out? We Need Your Help! 🦔💚
Are you having a clear out over the summer holidays? Before you throw things away, please think of Hedgehogs Chatham!
We’re always looking for authentic, open-ended resources and natural materials that inspire curiosity, imagination, and creativity. These everyday treasures help us create rich learning experiences where children can explore, discover, and learn through play.
We would love donations of:
🍵 Metal tea sets, pots, pans, china, mugs and household items
🪵 Wooden spoons, lamps and kitchen equipment
🔑 Loose parts such as large buttons, lids, cardboard tubes, bangles and old keys
🌲 Natural treasures including pinecones, pebbles, shells and wooden slices
🧵 Clean fabric scraps, ribbons, corks, wooden crates and other recycled materials
🚂 Wooden trains, track, animals, magnets, musical instruments, dolls and dressing-up clothes (adult and child)
Please note: we’re looking for authentic resources, so no plastic items please.
Every donation helps us create inspiring environments where children can learn, investigate and develop their independence through meaningful play. Thank you!
