TSAT - The Victory Academy

Our Virgin Atlantic club members have been hard at work! They have undertaken a variety of practical’s designed by Virgin Atlantics’ sustainability department.

So far they have Designed their own layout for plan with solutions to make travel more accessible to the needs of flyers, Investigate practically how different Biofuels act when used and selecting the best for the Aviation field, Creating the perfect lighting in a cabin based on the needs of both staff and customers through the different stages of a flight and Test fabrics to determine the best material for airline staff based on durability, flammability, comfort and water resistance.

Up next - Designing a pod for pets, to make their journey in a plane safe and comfortable!

Well done to our Star Learners from last week! 🌟

Our Year 8 have investigated the pH of household items, using Universal indicator and litmus paper. By using the colour change of these indicators, students were able to conclude if the solution was acidic, alkaline or neutral! 🔬🧪🧫

As a school we are committed to the Arts and our local community. We're delighted to see this new artwork in Luton!

On Tuesday 16th June, we officially said 'goodbye' to Year 11 by celebrating achievements at the Leavers Assembly, followed by a BBQ and shirt signing. We also enjoyed our final celebration at Prom last night and look forward to congratulating them on their GCSE results in August. We wish them all the best! 💫✨

This award ceremony celebrates our Media Students and their achievements across their 2 years studying Media. It's an excellent opportunity to highlight individuals' and reflect on the 2 years. A shout out to our two 'Media Student of the Year Awards' from Miss Gardner and Miss Nicholson's classes - Junior and Goodness! 🏆🎥💫✨
