For years, schools have told us they want to give students more opportunities beyond the classroom.
Yet increasingly we're hearing the same response...
"We just can't afford it."
Our prices start from just £10 per student, and even at that level, many schools tell us they can't ask parents to contribute.
That raises a much bigger question.
Have enrichment activities become a luxury rather than a standard part of education?
The experiences that develop communication, teamwork, resilience, leadership and problem-solving aren't "nice-to-haves." They're the very skills employers consistently tell us young people need.
If budgets continue to tighten, are we creating a system where only some children get access to these life-changing opportunities?
I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts.
Should enrichment be considered an essential part of education, or has it become something schools simply can't afford anymore?

Why did a teacher burst into tears last week? 🤔
80 delegates. Around 60 schools. One powerful conversation.
Today, Paul had the privilege of speaking to over 80 education professionals representing around 60 schools about a topic that's becoming increasingly important in education...
How do you build a team that genuinely supports wellbeing?
The session explored how understanding different personalities and recognising individual strengths can transform the way teams work together. Rather than expecting everyone to approach challenges in the same way, the most effective teams embrace different styles, communicate better and allow people to contribute where they thrive.
When people are valued for their strengths, collaboration improves, wellbeing grows and the whole team benefits.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, engaged and shared their experiences.
It's encouraging to see so many schools investing in their staff and creating positive cultures for both colleagues and students.
How does your school make the most of different personalities within the team?
We'd love to hear your thoughts.
Failure used to be part of growing up.
You'd have a go, get it wrong, learn from it and try again.
But after working with hundreds of thousands of students over the years, we've noticed a shift. More and more young people seem reluctant to put themselves forward, answer questions or take the lead because they're worried about making mistakes.
The irony is that confidence isn't built by getting everything right. It's built by facing challenges, making mistakes and discovering that you can overcome them.
As adults, are we doing enough to celebrate effort and resilience, or have we unintentionally made failure something to fear?
I'd love to hear your thoughts.
👇 Do you think today's young people are more afraid of failure than previous generations? If so, why?
Every week we visit schools across the UK and one message is becoming impossible to ignore.
Schools want to give students memorable experiences that build confidence, resilience, teamwork and communication... but increasingly, budgets are making those opportunities harder to provide.
The students who often benefit the most from enrichment activities are sometimes the very ones who are missing out.
This isn't about one company or one program, it's about the future of education. Are we reaching a point where enrichment is becoming a luxury instead of an essential part of developing young people?
I'd love to hear from teachers, school leaders and parents.
💬 Are budget pressures affecting the opportunities your students receive?
What changes have you seen over the last few years?

2026 Summer Season ☀️
WiseUp is ready for our busiest summer yet.
After 15 years of delivering team building and enrichment programmes to schools across the UK, this year we’ve made a big decision, to focus on quality over quantity.
Rather than spreading ourselves across lots of smaller bookings, we’ve chosen to partner closely with a smaller number of schools that align with our values and vision.
Schools we’ve built strong relationships with over many years. Schools that truly value delivering exceptional experiences for their students.
This means that in 2026, instead of running 10 vans across the country, we’ll be running 6 dedicated delivery teams, allowing us to deliver six incredible, high-impact days every single day throughout the summer season.
For us, it’s not about doing more. It’s about doing it better.
More consistency - More impact - More attention to detail. More unforgettable experiences for students.
We know this unfortunately means we can’t work with every school that enquires, but we’re incredibly grateful to be in a position where, after 15 years, schools continue to trust WiseUp year after year.
To every school partnering with us this summer — thank you. We can’t wait to deliver an amazing season together. 💙
