π¨ Summer Art Challenge - Week 2 π¨
Our students have taken on the challenge of creating a piece of artwork every day for 30 days, running from Monday 8th June to Tuesday 7th July!
We're delighted to share some of the fantastic artwork submitted during the first week β well done to everyone who has taken part so far! π
There's still plenty of time to get involved. Every artwork you submit earns 1 Leadership Point, so keep those creative ideas flowing and send your work to Ms Furnells' Art Community Teams group. π

ππ SSG Cricket Competition ππβ
β
On Wednesday, a group of our Year 7 students took part in the Secondary School Games Cricket Competition at High Halstow Cricket Club.β
β
The team achieved an impressive 2nd place finish overall, narrowly missing out on the top spot after drawing on points for 1st place and losing out only on run difference π₯πβ

Throughout the day, the students worked brilliantly together, growing in confidence and developing their cricketing skills with every match. It was also wonderful to see them making new friendships and supporting one another both on and off the field.β
β
A special shoutout goes to Jasmine, who was outstanding in the field with some incredible catches; Victoria, our star batter, who scored numerous boundaries; and Charlotte, an excellent all-rounder, delivering some fantastic bowling performances βοΈβ
β
The team won 5 out of their 6 matches, achieving some excellent run totals along the way. Most importantly, they had a fantastic day and represented the school brilliantlyπβ
β
Many of the students enjoyed the experience so much that they are now considering playing cricket outside of school as well!β
β
