Our Nursery children had a fantastic day enjoying their very own beach-themed adventure! They loved playing with sand and water, cooling off with a fun water fight, sharing a picnic with their friends, and finishing the day with a delicious ice lolly. π¦π¦
It was a day filled with laughter, smiles, and wonderful memories. What a perfect way to enjoy the sunshine! βοΈπ

Our Nursery children had an amazing time taking part in a range of fun races and activities, showing great enthusiasm, determination, and big smiles all around! From running races to team games, every child gave it their best.
We are so proud of all the children for their effort, teamwork, and positive attitudes. It was a lovely day full of laughter, encouragement, and memorable moments. π

Year 5 had a fantastic time exploring, identifying and describing 3D shapes on Purple Mash today! Great teamwork and brilliant mathematical thinking on display.

π St James the Lesser wowed us with a fantastic Newsround-style assembly, where the children confidently shared facts about important historical inventions. βοΈβοΈππ
They spoke about Alexander Graham Bell, the Wright brothers, and the Moon landing, showing great knowledge and enthusiasm.
πΆ Their songs were a real highlight, performed with joy, confidence, and teamwork.
π« The assembly reminded us that with determination and curiosity, we can achieve amazing things. We are so proud of Year 1βwell done! π«

This term we have been reading the Dicken's classic, Oliver Twist. Today we made some gruel so we could experience what the workhouse boys had to eat everyday. Some of us enjoyed it, others not so much! Afterwards, we did some writing about how we could improve the taste of gruel.
