🧙‍♀️✨ Brewing Up Magical Fun! ✨🧪

Our children had a spellbinding time exploring our Witch's Potion House, a wonderfully imaginative activity thoughtfully created by our passionate Early Years Practitioner, Summer. 💚

The children mixed magical potions using a variety of exciting natural materials, herbs, flowers, and colourful ingredients, creating their own magical recipes while letting their imaginations run wild. As they stirred, poured, measured, and experimented, they were developing important early skills including communication and language, creativity, fine motor control, problem-solving, and collaborative play.

At Owl & Bear, we love providing rich, open-ended experiences that encourage curiosity, exploration, and learning through play. A huge thank you to Summer for creating such an enchanting invitation to learn that sparked so much excitement and wonder throughout the day! 🌿🪄✨

Yesterday was an incredibly special and emotional day at Owl & Bear as we celebrated the graduation of our wonderful Class of 2026. 🎓🖤💛

From our management team, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to our amazing staff. Your dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to our children made today truly unforgettable. From transforming the nursery into a beautiful graduation setting to supporting every child with love and encouragement, and making every family feel so welcome, we are incredibly proud of the team we have.

To our wonderful parents and families, thank you for choosing Owl & Bear to be part of your child's early years journey. It has been an absolute privilege to watch your children grow in confidence, develop lifelong friendships, discover their unique personalities, and achieve so many incredible milestones. Last week our children had a magical time taking part in a Mermaid Messy Play adventure! 🌊🐚
The children explored a variety of exciting textures, scooped and poured colourful water, discovered hidden sea treasures, and let their imaginations run wild as they created their own underwater worlds. Messy play is a fantastic way to support sensory development, language, creativity, fine motor skills, and confidence through hands-on exploration.

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and magical moments as our little mermaids and mermen splashed, explored, and learned together! 💙✨
We love providing experiences that spark curiosity and encourage children to learn through play.

🧚‍♀️✨ Fairy Potion Making Fun! ✨🧚‍♂️

Our little learners had a magical time creating their very own fairy potions today! Using a wonderful mix of flowers, herbs, leaves, water and a sprinkle of imagination, the children explored, experimented and created their own enchanted recipes.

Potion making is a fantastic way to encourage creativity, communication, sensory exploration and early scientific thinking as children mix, pour, stir and describe their magical creations.
We loved hearing all about the special powers their potions had – from making flowers bloom to helping fairies fly! 🌸🧪✨

Today our little explorers have been stomping, roaring, and discovering all things dinosaur! From digging for fossils to learning about some of the amazing creatures that once roamed our planet, we've had a dino-mite day full of fun and imagination. 🦴✨

Dinosaurs help children develop curiosity about the world, encourage creative play, and inspire a love of learning through exciting adventures.
