Fledglings

Fledglings Parents/Carers we invite you to come along to our stay and play baby and toddler group in the KS1 Hall at Chapel Primary School. We charge £1.50 per family.

We welcome babies up to pre school age children and we run our group every Thursday ( 9am - 11am )
Term time only 😊 We are a Parent and Toddler Group run exclusively by volunteers in the KS1 Hall at Chapel-en-le-Frith Primary School. We pride ourselves on our unique location giving parents a snapshot into the school. We have varying activities each week including painting, drawing, ride-on's, con

struction, cars, dolls, dress up to name just a few. We also join in with traditions and holidays throughout the year and theme our activities to suit - Easter egg hunt, Christmas Party, Mother's Day and Father's day. This includes use of all the activities we have out on the day, a healthy snack and a drink for the children and a snack and a hot drink for the parent/carer. There is no booking system, please just turn up to play. We start straight after school drop off at 9 am. Snack is at 10am and we all start to pack the toys away at approx 10:30. The session is then finished off with a circle time group singing session. We welcome all families and carers of children in the area. Please come along and make new friends!

Thanks to all who came to our Teddy Bears Picnic today.
The rain held off and the Community Garden provided the perfect space to end on.

Our little FLEDGLINGS community is a delight to be part of 😉

Thank you to all the parents /carers, grandparents and children who make our group such a special one

Today we said goodbye to some of our bigger children who have now fled the nest 🥲
They will certainly fly high at Big School .

You'll be missed lots!

👋 We're approaching that time of year when we say farewell to our older Fledglings as they flee the nest ready for their next adventure....
Starting Big School! 😮

We will be so sad to see you leave 😢
We've watched you grow from tiny babies, to sociable, confident, happy, little people 🥰

So, we invite ALL of our little Fledglings and their grown ups, to come along for the final session of the school year to our annual Teddy Bears Picnic 🐻

Thur 23rd July

As done in previous years, the session will start in the hall as usual 👍
Then we will move on to the Community Garden ( around 10am ) where the children can enjoy their picnic snack and go on to explore the beautiful surroundings of the garden 🌹 🌸

* Please note *

• Children are to bring their own picnic
( no nuts )
• bring a blanket if you can.
• The session will be FREE !
• Grown ups will still enjoy their refreshments before we head out to the garden 😉 ☕️ 🍪
• Importantly...don't forget to bring along your favorite TEDDY BEAR 🧸

A date for your calendar...

Thursday 23rd July ( term end )
will be our final FLEDGLINGS of the school year.

If the weather is kind we'll aim to host half of the session in the Community Garden as we have done in previous years 🤞
