Chandler’s Ford BB Brass Band is an enthusiastic and lively Brass Band based at Chandler’s Ford Methodist Church, with a friendly atmosphere and a relaxed environment. It is a great way to spend time having fun, making lifelong friends, and growing in musical ability. No matter what stage you are in music, if you have picked up an instrument or not, it can take you right from the start and help you gain the musical skills needed to perform. The band takes part in a number of events across the year, especially at Christmas and in the summer including: local fetes, carolling, church services and concerts where donations are taken for chosen charities each year. Over the past few years the band have taken part in Southampton and Portsmouth Music Festivals, as well as holding our own- but what many members will say is the best event, are the weekends away where we meet with other Boys’ Brigade Bands across the country for training sessions, concerts and activities. Today’s Band include members, not only from the Junior and Company sections, but also members from the Church and local community – including members from the Girls’ Brigade. It does not matter if you can’t buy your own instrument, the band have plenty on offer to loan – we just ask of a small weekly fee to cover the loan insurance. It’s never too late to get involved!

Thanks to all who came to our concert at the weekend. We hope you enjoyed the range of music - from Taylor Swift to Wallace and Gromit to A Gaelic Blessing and much more!

After positive feedback on our "teatime" time slot for the concert yesterday, we are going to stick with this time for our Christmas concert too.

Tomorrow is our Autumn Concert! 3:30pm at Chandlers Ford Methodist Church for around an hour with tea and coffee available afterwards, suitable for all the family.

1st Chandlers Ford Boys' Brigade will be presenting their awards, and the band will be providing a variety of music.

Our next concert will be a family friendly teatime concert at 3:30pm on the 18th October, including Awards Presentation to find out what the Boys' Brigade have been up to lately 🏅🎼🎺
