Does the fact I'm posting this at 10pm whilst eating my first actual meal of the day show you just how rarely I ever stop...? 🤣

So, next time you get annoyed that a small business didn't reply to you in within an hour of you sending a message, remember, we are very often singlehandedly trying to run our businesses and playing every role, meaning we are VERY BUSY and trying our best to keep up. 😬😅

Honestly I could've kept going if the audio was longer; sales manager, accountant, social media manager, customer service representative, operations manager, designated safeguarding lead, compliance officer, data protection officer, supply chain manager, data analyst, service developer... the list goes on...🥱😴

Hey everyone, it's been a while.

I haven't posted on Imagination Time Studio since April, and not because I stopped caring, but because life has been a lot.

Behind the scenes, I've been juggling two businesses, working film/TV jobs, doing work for my friends' businesses to try and help them out, and trying (or rather failing) to uphold relationships/my social life, all in the name of trying to build the life I've always dreamed of. It's exciting, but it's also exhausting. When you're wearing every hat, something always ends up taking a back seat.

If I'm being honest, this year has also been really disheartening at times. I've had clients not turn up, invoices go unpaid, and moments that have made me question whether all the hard work is actually worth it. Running a small business can feel incredibly lonely, especially when you're putting everything you have into it and have no one to help.

The truth is, every like, share, comment, review, recommendation and booking means so much more than people realise. They genuinely help small businesses keep going.

So if you've ever supported Imagination Time Studio, whether you've booked with us, shared a post, recommended us, or simply cheered me on, thank you. I appreciate it more than I can put into words.

And if you've been meaning to support a small business but weren't sure how, this little graphic is a reminder that it doesn't always have to cost money. 💜

Here's to showing up again, creating more, and continuing to chase all the dreams, even when the journey feels a little harder than expected.
