I always recommend learning some basic techniques of blues. It has helped me to not only have more fun on the piano, but allowed me add my own improvisation to some favourite techniques. Whatever you do in life, try and add your own unique style. It is not wrong to do things differently.

A really nice evening last night at Thornden School piano meetup evening. Thank you to all that came and supported the talented performers. Josh and Alex did amazing performances, playing for their very first time in front of an audience. We had the following:

Had the pleasure to play at Highcliffe Castle last Saturday for Chloe and Ryans wedding. It was such a beautiful venue on a very special day. I pleasure to play some pieces from Lala land ("Engagement party" and "City of Stars) , Grow as we grow- Ben Platt and Here Comes the son- Beatles. Many congratulations to the new couple :-)

There are lots of ways to relax after a hard day at work. For me, the blues tops it when it comes to momentarily leaving earth and being taken away with the music. It's never too late to learn.
