Before you get in your car this morning, make sure you know when you are safe to drive again.
Don’t get caught out the morning after.

Use our handy guide to check when you can pick up those car keys again.

Will be starting work on the 6th July. I will be in contact with existing and my new students waiting to start. It will be a slow managed start with compulsory ppe. There’s going to be a considerable wait for theory and practical tests so for some students there will be a delay in starting until those test dates are confirmed.

All driving tests in the system have now been put on hold. No idea when they will resume. I can imagine there’s quite a backlog and that will be the case for some time. At present I’m limited to teaching key workers with a key worker test already booked. I will be In touch with all my existing students when we can get going with normal lessons.

You can now apply for your provisional licence at www.gov.uk.Hopefully we can start lessons soon.

Driving is not about taking risks. Leave earlier and drive in respect of the conditions and fellow road users.

Good to see some action from the police.

Drivers can face fines of up To £2,500 for having an Unrestrained Pet in their Vehicle. ... As Rule 57 of the Highway Code states "When in a vehicle make sure dogs or other animals are suitably restrained so they cannot distract you while you are driving or injure you, or themselves, if you stop quickly. So before you take your buffalo to the shops consider if you have a seatbelt big enough.
