Year 5 enjoyed a fascinating visit to the Hindu Temple in Neasden, where they learnt about the Hindu faith and the remarkable history behind the construction of the first traditional Hindu temple of its kind in the Western world. They were amazed by the intricate carvings and inspired by the warm welcome and kindness shown by the worshippers they met. A highlight of the visit was the opportunity to attend the morning prayer ceremony in the Mandir, making it a truly memorable and enriching experience. 🛕✨

Year Three had a fantastic day at the National Gallery, exploring masterpieces by renowned artists including Monet, Hans Holbein and Van Gogh. They also enjoyed an inspiring workshop with Ed and Bill from the National Gallery’s Curatorial Team, discovering the fascinating theme of Religion in Art.
The children were captivated throughout the visit, showing incredible enthusiasm and curiosity. They were also given a behind-the-scenes insight into how priceless paintings and their frames are carefully restored and preserved, ensuring these incredible works of art remain in immaculate condition for future generations.It truly was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! 🎨✨ InspiringYoungMinds
