Good morning! We are moving over to a new sub- page just to help out with privacy settings and accessibility. Could you all add Little Ladybirds childcare parents group. By adding yourself to the group you are consenting to your child’s pictures being added to the private group, that our parents have access to.

Information for all our parents, for
Christmas hoildays.

We will be closing for the Christmas holidays on the 23rd of December and will re open open Tuesday, 3rd of January 2023.

Please be on the look out for some highly contagious illnesses that are circulating at the moment.

Scarlett Fever

Chicken Pox

Strep A

There’s also cases of RSV, bronchitis, headlice and diarrhoea circulating as well as the usual coughs and colds.

Please be vigilant. Has your child had sudden onset of symptoms? Temperature / fever? Rashes ? Generally not themselves ? Don’t leave it to chance phone your Gp.

Please don’t bring your child into nursery if they’re unwell. A day or 2 resting and recovering at home is not only better for the children, it helps us with not spreading the illnesses and infections on to others in the settings. We have a safeguarding duty, to prevent the spread of infection. Some illnesses have a compulsory exclusion period, where the children are required to quarantine and not attend the setting.

Please be mindful, we don’t routinely give non prescribed medicine such as calpol - if your child requires regular analgesics to continue their day, they’re more than likely not well enough to attend the setting and participate in their day with us.

Welcome to the parent page.

This will be an area where we can share photos and stories of the children in the setting.

We will update you with important information such as closures, illness that may be circulating or anything else we need to make you aware of.

We will post a weekly information bulletin of what we have been doing this week and some photos of the children at play.

It will also enable you to contact the setting as a collective to inform us of absences or if you’re going to be later to pick up for example or anything else you need to make us aware of. Only we, as admins, will be ask to to see your message - not other parents like a whats app group, to make it more confidential. Anything you want to share to everyone you can make a group post on the page.
