Tickets for my next show are selling nicely 😊

Are you coming?! It’s at the gorgoues ‘speakeasy feel’ The Firefly Cellar Rooms where the staff are lovely and the drinks are 👌🏼!

It’s gonna be another epic show and so do book tickets before they sell out (the last two have been packed out).

As well as performing myself as LADY LIBERATA 🔥, you can also expect poetry from the incredible Emma While ⚔️Shame-slayer 🧨 Truth-sayer 🐆 Mother and another guest poet (or two), aaaand

👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
riscus
Gabrielle La Belle ✨
Beta Von Glitch | Burlesque & Electric Dreams
and the fabulous founder of The Scarlet Vixens 🙌🏼

It’s SO great to collaborate with other wise and wonderful women (away from the witch wound & toxic bu****it that’s so common amongst women).

I hope you all find supportive women in your lifetime. Truly I do. To fill that cup or that void — come along as it’s gonna be deliciously exciting and soul nourishing 💗✨💗✨

Another SHOWGIRL has been born. ✨🔥

One of my burlesque students 🤩

🍑 PEACHES DELUXXE 🍑

Kay aka Peaches joined me for classes earlier this year and has bloomed and grown soooo beautifully!! 🦋

Peaches performed in a troupe in May, then went on to perform an amazing solo called ‘Washday Blues’ in July — which she took to a stage in London on Friday just gone!! 🥳

Aaaaand she WON the judges and the audience choice!!

I am SO proud and SO happy for HER. Well done Queeeeen!!

See what can happen when you say “YES” to yourself!!? ❤️❤️❤️

Thanking Peaches for being a gem to teach and have in my spaces, thanking for teaching me and I’m thanking me for following my heart and going with this glorious path of burlesque!!

Come to my next show in November to get a taste of what I/we do 🤩

Having fun with my new curling wand from Vinted 🤩!!

Oh and I got the suitcase of cosy things down so have my fluffy snood out now ☺️🍂

I loved my session with Tamiyya Parker | Bridal Hair Stylist | Berkshire, UK📍 and have been practicing my victory rolls 🤓.

Bloody love burlesque and experimenting with different looks. I don’t get to wear them out that often due to lack of funds but it’s so fun and I’ve found/I’m finding a version of me still that was unveiled in 2024 on stage 😍✨.

Now…

🔥 I TEACH burlesque
🔥 I HOST my own burlesque and poetry show called ‘Velvet & Valour’.
🔥 I PERFORM; my poetry and as my showgirl self — Lady Liberata!

Wanna come to my next show at The Firefly Cellar Rooms on Sunday November 29th?

✨ a showgirl was born ✨ (a poem I wrote)

thank you burlesque Goddesses
for what you have healed

the Goddesses up above
but also my teachers

I’ll never forget
the moment I flung open my wrap dress
in time with the music
and the rest of my troupe

shaking and nauseous with nerves just minutes before

but the liberation I felt on stage
so fu***ng free
and so, SO happy

moving my body
sc****ly clad
ni**le tassels spinning…
knowing no one owns me
nor is telling me who can see what of me
or what is and isn’t appropriate

f**k you to the abusers
you sad, traumatised and soulless vessels

and f**k your pathetic attempt at controlling me

Lady Liberata has been BORN

brilliant and beautiful burlesque
daring to some
but I felt so safe
so accepted
and so very celebrated

what a balm
for any woman
living in and under the patriarchal systems of today

what an elixir
for the version of me
that it still learning…

that she is worthy of love
even adoration
and a true, felt sense of belonging

PICTURED: a sneak peak of my next act as Lady Liberata 🔥❤️

Eye make up by 😍🙌🏼

thank you as always 🥹

So beautifully true. This is why I help people work on their body literacy.

It’s important to know what our body is telling us;

🔥 to preempt injury
🔥 to prevent burnout
🔥 to protect our safety (and those we love)

Huge trauma is what has led me to be deeply in touch with my body and it’s messages. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are ways to listen in before s**t hits the fan.

Would you like my help?

Come to any of my classes if you’re local OR I also offer 1:1 and small group coaching sessions. As well as public speaking.

Let me know if you’d like my help with getting to know yourself and the wisdom of your body better; via yoga, coaching or (yes, really) Burlesque.

All powerful mediums for healing, growing and knowing 💗⚡️✨
