We hope everyone is enjoying the holidays and staying safe!

The academic year is done!!

Thank you to all our parents, pupils, governors and local community for all their support this year.

All of this year would not be possible without the amazing care and dedication of the fantastic staff we are lucky enough to call . They go above and beyond for our pupils every single day and we are truly grateful for everything do.

Good luck to our Year 6s who leave today ready to face their next adventure! We also said goodbye to some students who will be starting their new schools in September...we know they will thrive wherever they go.

We hope everyone has a well deserved rest and we look forward to seeing our new families and everyone else on Wednesday 9th September.

FAMILY FUN AFTERNOON!

Our annual thank you to our families for their support this year...and what a fabulous turn out it was!

One of the highlights of our year, or as one child said "the best school day ever!"

It was so lovely to see all our families coming together to play games, relax and enjoy the sun and the atmosphere. Huge thanks to The Wonky Tree Bookshop for pitching another successful book stall, Gallone Ices Bedale for a much needed ice cream van for refreshments and the wonderful Mrs Stephens for organising it all.

All the staff at Carnagill Primary School would like to say a huge thank you to our parents for supporting us this year. We hope you enjoyed it! The staff certainly had fun on the bouncy castles!

LEAVERS LUNCH!
Year 6 got a special treat today as they were treated to a VIP lunch!

The children chose chicken goujons, fries and salad, finished off with good old fashioned school sprinkle cake!

Thank you to our amazing school cook Gemma for going the extra mile and spoiling our Year 6s in their final few days of primary school!

A lovely idea to keep the children entertained in the summer holidays, and just around the corner from us!

There's a new children's trail at Foxglove Covert just in time for the summer holidays! 🌼🌞

This time, we're learning about insect life cycles 🪳 From tiny nymphs to beautiful dragonflies, do you know who grows into who? 🦋

Follow the clues around the red route and match the nymphs to the adult. When you're done, head back to the Field Centre to get your trail sheet stamped! 🔎

Pick up your trail sheet at the Field Centre for just £1 (only available during Field Centre opening hours) and get exploring! 😊

Year 6 leavers!

After their incredible fundraising event, Year 6 enjoyed their leavers treat today.

Cinema, pub lunch and swimming! A fabulous way to end the primary school journey!

We look forward to welcoming our Year 6 Parents to their leavers assembly at 2.30pm on Friday :)

FOREST SCHOOL FUN!

Year 2 and 3 enjoyed the afternoon together completing a variety of challenges.

Clay creatures, wild flower picking, windmill crafts and lots of fun in the trees!

It was lovely to see all the children working together in our forest environment and enjoying the final few days of the Summer Term!
