With temperatures reaching 24 degrees, it was certainly a warm one, but that didn’t stop hundreds of incredible runners from giving it their all. A huge well done to everyone who took part — whether you were chasing a PB or simply crossing the finish line, you should all be proud of yourselves! 👏

It was a pleasure for the Platinum Medical team to be part of such a brilliant community event and to help keep runners, volunteers, and spectators safe throughout the day.

While off duty, one of our team members was out with their family on a walk, when they came across a young girl on a bridge very upset! Quickly realising this person was vulnerable, our team member took the time to listen and gain her trust and eventually managed to talk her down from the situation!

Awaiting emergency services then took over and hopefully she will now get the support she needs.

You are our Hero of the week! We are proud to have you as a valuable team member (You know who you are).

March has been one to remember for Platinum Medical Events and Training 🚑

It’s been a busy and rewarding month with our incredible teams providing medical cover across a wide range of events. From the intensity of judo competitions, the excitement of horseracing, the endurance of running events, to the high-adrenaline world of MotoX — we’ve been proud to support them all.

A huge thank you to our dedicated staff who make it all possible. From paramedics and ECAs to first responders and everyone in between, your professionalism, teamwork, and commitment never go unnoticed.

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved this month and look forward to supporting even more events in the months ahead.

👶⛑️ Paediatric First Aid Insight Session – Would You Be Interested?

At Platinum Medical, we’re thinking of hosting a relaxed, informative Paediatric First Aid Insight Session at Morro Lounge, Richmond – and we’d love to know if this is something you’d be interested in joining!

This would be a 2–3 hour morning session, perfect for parents, carers, or anyone wanting to feel more confident helping little ones in an emergency.

💡 What to expect:
• Essential paediatric first aid knowledge
• Guidance based on the latest Resuscitation Council UK standards
• Practical, easy-to-understand advice in a friendly setting

💷 Cost: Around £30 (TBC)
