Le Cateau Community Primary School

Year 6 went on two Geography field study trips looking at the litter in different locations around the Garrison. They looked at Burrell Beck Woods and Scotton Beck Woods. In Burrell Beck woods 30kg of litter was collected compared to 19.6kg of litter collected in Scotton Beck woods. Therefore in total a total of 49.6kg of rubbish was collected over the morning. Well done Y6 - a great job caring for the community!

Drew, Effie and Lily attended Nationals this weekend in Sheffield and we are so proud of them! Just 4 days before flying to Portugal to attend The European Summit Cheerleading Championship they have been crowned :

🥇National Champions in U12 Level 1, hit zero (the perfect routine with no deductions) and Judges Choice Award.

🥇National Champions in U12 Level 2

🏆 They were also Crowned Grand Champions for the performance with Lady Lilac U12 Level one which means they were the highest scoring team of all teams and levels on the day!

🎉 On top of these they were awarded a bid to compete at Allstar World's which takes place in Florida in 2027!
