Weโre thrilled to share that our journey in growing our own potatoes and strawberries has been a huge success! ๐ This hands-on experience not only teaches our students about the importance of sustainability and healthy eating but also allows us to incorporate fresh, homegrown produce into our cooking and baking.
Our delicious strawberries are perfect for making smoothies, desserts, and even healthy snacks! ๐โจMeanwhile, our homegrown potatoes can be used to make a range of dishes, including our own homemade chips.๐ฅBy using our own produce, weโre not just promoting healthy eating; weโre also fostering a sense of responsibility and teamwork among our students.

It has been a busy day today in the Hub. We started the day with a dance show, celebrated a Y11โs last day with us and one of our Hubsters created the most delicious vegetable curry to finish the day on a high.
We are so sad to see our Y11 student go but excited for the next chapter in his life. He has been with us for 3 years now and we can't believe how he has evolved and flourished in our setting. Good luck for the future Jacob, we know you will smash it โค๏ธ

This week at PT Hub, our Hubsters have been learning through creativity, teamwork and hands-on experiences! ๐
As part of our BTEC Home Cooking Skills qualification, pupils have been busy in the kitchen making delicious spaghetti bolognese, a yummy victoria sponge and experimenting with different types of focaccia breads โ even making their own pesto with fresh basil from the garden. Such a great way to develop confidence, independence and practical life skills along the way ๐๐
Meanwhile, our primary pupils embarked on a sensory journey to outer space ๐โจ
Using glow trays, sensory textures, imaginative play and creative exploration, they travelled through galaxies, discovered alien worlds and let their imaginations soar ๐๐ฝ
At PT Hub, we believe learning should be engaging, therapeutic and tailored to every young personโs individual needs โ helping pupils reconnect with education in a safe, nurturing environment ๐
