Another huge day in the mountains with pilots continuing to progress across every aspect of their flying.

A massive thank you to special guest Mags Janaway, who joined the team to provide detailed briefings and expert cross-country guidance throughout the day. Her knowledge, route insight, and tactical decision-making gave pilots a real understanding of how to approach XC flying more efficiently and safely.

THERMAL CHASERS DAY 3 🇮🇹

🍳 Morning briefing over breakfast for a planned 47k triangle flight

⏰ Weather was forecast to close in by 1500hr, meaning everyone needed to be airborne by 1100hr sharp

🪂 The focus for the day was flying as a team and sharing information across the sky

⚡️ Superb teamwork throughout the flight as conditions began changing and rain started moving in

🎯 Change of plan mid-flight led to safe decision making, controlled landings and great overall results

📏 27k triangles completed despite the changing conditions
