What do you actually get when you book Step 1?

Step 1 is SO much more than coming along to a baby class once a week. Over our four weeks together, you and your baby will experience so much

Learn a baby massage routine, with techniques you can continue to use at home, baby Yoga, tummy time techniques, sensory play designed especially for those early months and a dedicated Paediatric First Aid session, led by a qualified first aider, including practical knowledge around baby CPR and choking

We'll finish with our gorgeous Baby Graduation which includes sensory activities, your little one receiving their Step 1 certificate and beautiful photo opportunities to mark the end of your course.

You'll also receive your own Step 1 course pack with your LullaBaby tote bag, course guide, baby massage oil and sensory toy.

But one of my favourite parts of Step 1?

The bit that isn't really on the timetable. The WhatsApp chats. The coffees. Having other mums to ask “is anyone else's baby doing this?!” The friendships and support that can continue long after Step 1 has finished.

The next Step 1 courses begin at the end of September and are suitable from birth up to and including 5 months.

Caterham — Monday 28th September
Oxted — Tuesday 29th September
Purley — Wednesday 30th September
Kenley — Thursday 1st October

I am SO excited to kick off our Late Summer Sessions this week with Beach Party and GlastoBaby IllumiBaby ✨

Each of our Late Summer themes includes a themed keepsake to take home too starting this week with our little Beach Party sensory bottles

There are still spaces available across my other Beach Party sessions in Caterham, Oxted, Purley and Kenley.

And don’t forget the Step 3 Beach Party at Oxted on Tuesday at 11:30am, suitable for confident movers (approx. 8 months) right through to 36 months.

GlastoBaby IllumiBaby is coming to Caterham THIS MONDAY!

IllumiBaby is my light sensory experience for babies from birth to 12 months, and every session has a different theme.

And Monday's theme? GLASTOBABY! 🎪🌈🎶

We'll be turning down the lights and bringing the festival vibes with...

Light-up wristbands
Light-up flower crowns
Retro flashing sunglasses
Lots of gorgeous light sensory experiences
AND my incredible LED wings will be making a special IllumiBaby appearance!

The wings don't usually come out for IllumiBaby, but for GlastoBaby there was absolutely no way I was leaving them behind 😂

There'll be plenty of time for you and your baby to explore the different light stations together, take everything in at your own pace and enjoy a completely different sensory experience.

And just like that Summer Term 2026 is a wrap.

This week has been full of End of Term Parties, Step 1 Graduations, lots of cuddles and some emotional goodbyes as some of my mums head back to work and their LullaBaby journey comes to an end.

On Monday, one of my lovely mums handed me this card.

And I never really know what to say when I hear things like this.

Little old me being someone's safe space. 🥹

I'm always so focused on making sure everyone is happy, that everyone feels welcome and that I'm giving you and your little ones the best experience I possibly can, that sometimes I forget the impact I might actually be having.

Knowing that my sessions can give someone somewhere they feel comfortable, accepted and able to just be themselve that means more to me than I can explain.

It's my greatest honour to play a small part in your journeys. To watch you grow in confidence, see friendships form, watch your babies grow and then, eventually, wave you off as maternity leave comes to an end.

I may be the one standing at the front each week, but I hope you all know just how much you give back to me too.

And I absolutely love the last line of this card

“This isn't goodbye, it's just until next time.”

To every single family who has spent their Summer Term with me across Caterham, Oxted, Purley and Kenley, thank you.

Who's ready for some summer fun?! ☀️

Next week I am kicking off our Late Summer Sessions with LullaBaby Beach Party!

Well without actually having to take the babies to the beach and spend the next three days finding sand in places sand should never be 😂

I've got SO much planned!

Baby Yoga to Boogie Boards Boogie
Instruments to Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride from Lilo & Stitch
Makaton to Three Jellyfish
Giant beach ball & parachute fun to Wipe Out
Sensory scarves to Waves

And every little one will take home their own beach sensory bottle, filled with our very special LullaBaby "sand" and seashells.

There'll also be a gorgeous beach-themed photo opportunity, so you can get those summer holiday photos without having to deal with actual sand EVERYWHERE.

Beach Party sessions are running across Caterham, Oxted, Purley & Kenley next week.

Some sessions still have room, while my Oxted 12:30 session is already FULL and Caterham 11:30 has just ONE space remaining!

Sessions are £9 and can be booked individually, so you don't need to have attended LullaBaby before or be booked onto the full Late Summer mini term to come along.

Had a baby this summer? This one's for you.

Whether your little one is already here or you're currently counting down the days until you meet them, my next Step 1 courses start at the end of September.

Step 1 is specially designed for babies from birth to around 5 months and brings together so much of what can support you during those first few months.

Across our four weeks we'll enjoy:

Baby Massage
Baby Yoga
Sensory play & tummy time
Baby First Aid, including CPR & choking
Your little one's Baby Graduation
Plenty of time to chat, get to know other mums and enjoy a cuppa together

🥳 WHAT'S ON THIS WEEK AT LULLABABY? 🥳

I can't quite believe I'm saying this, but we've made it to the FINAL WEEK OF TERM!

And of course, we're finishing on a high

We'll be celebrating the end of our LullaBaby year with lots of party fun and some of our favourite activities! 🥳

🎓 STEP 1 – GRADUATION WEEK! 🎓

My Step 1 little ones have made it to the end of their course 🥹

After four weeks of baby massage, yoga, sensory activities, First Aid and lots more, this week we'll be celebrating everything they've done together with their Baby Graduation!

I absolutely LOVE graduation week, although I'm never quite ready to see my Step 1 groups finish!

It's going to be such a lovely week and the perfect way to wrap up the term before our Summer Sessions begin

Summer on maternity leave

Two years ago, summer arrived and suddenly all of the baby classes Alfie and I had been going to stopped for the holidays.

I remember my NCT friends and I thinking what on earth are we going to do all summer?! 😂

We had tiny babies, weeks stretching ahead of us and suddenly not a lot in the diary.

I'd heard about LullaBaby and knew they were running sessions over the summer, so I suggested we all gave it a go.

Mr LullaBaby even ended up taking the day off work and coming along with us 😂 and that's how we ended up at GlastoBaby!

I remember being so grateful that we had something to go to. Something in the diary, a reason to get out of the house and somewhere I could meet up with my friends and our babies.

And looking at these photos now makes me a little emotional because I had absolutely NO idea that two summers later, I'd be the one running LullaBaby and getting ready for my own Summer Sessions.

I was just a mum on maternity leave trying to work out how we were going to fill those summer weeks 😂

And I think that's one of the reasons I care so much about what I do now.

I know what it's like to be the mum walking through the door.

I know sometimes you just need a reason to get dressed, get out of the house and have something in the diary to look forward to.

And sometimes the bit you need most isn't even the activity. It's seeing another adult, having a chat and feeling like you've actually done something with your day 😂

That's why I always try to go above and beyond for my mums and little ones.

Because really, it wasn't that long ago that I was on the other side of the mat.
