St Patrick’s Primary School, Burrenreagh celebrated Book Week by inviting Derek Keilty, a children’s author to talk to the pupils about his various books. The pupils completed a creative writing story session entitled 'How to create your own book'.

Mrs Douglas' Primary 4/5 class in St Patrick's Primary School, Burrenreagh had a great morning when local firefighter Karl visited the classroom. The pupils learnt about the importance of checking smoke alarms in the home, having a fire escape plan and keeping safe in the home.
