Thanks to great community support, we plan to open a new charity-led preschool in September. We will offer at least 30 hours a week (9-3, Monday to Friday). We will mainly be hosted by the Village Hall, with some sessions held in the church and outside. The preschool will be a sister site to the one in Shenley Church End, pooling resources and expertise. Shenley has an excellent reputation for its SEN provision, something we plan to emulate at Castlethorpe.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic and creative manager to lead the set up and development of a new village setting, as well as a Level 3 practitioner. We would also love local volunteers to join us in reading or sharing their skills with the children (we would provide DBS checks), and help with fundraising.
We can only open if enough children sign up, so please help us spread the word, and get in touch if your children might like a place.
