Over Easter we have finally had a much needed transformation to part of our outdoor area. It has been lovely to see the children enjoying their new space, especially the big sandpit and the sleeper seating looking out onto the field.
We want to say a big thank you to Daines-Lowe • Groundworks, Landscaping, & Plant Hire for doing such an fantastic job in such a limited timeframe- the comments from parents and children have been amazing!

We have a part time vacancy for a Qualified Early Years Practitioner
Location: Castle Nursery, Castle Hedingham
Position: Nursery Practitioner- Must have Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
Hours: Part time hours, Term time only
Holiday Time: Holidays taken out of term time only.

• Enjoys working within a team
• Has good communication skills
• Has a good understanding of the Early Years curriculum and the many ways children learn through play
• Recognises the value of outdoor play and exploration and how it extends children’s learning

Castle Nursery is a private nursery based in Castle Hedingham. We would like someone to join a strong team of enthusiastic and driven practitioners. The successful candidate would be responsible for their own key group and for observing, assessing and planning activities to support and extend learning and development based on each child’s individual interests and needs.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, caring and passionate about working with children. It is essential the successful candidate has a great love of the outdoors as we place a strong emphasis on outdoor play and learning, nurturing a love of nature and the natural environment.

VACANCY 2 – LUNCH TIME ASSISTANT and BANK STAFF COVER

Position: Nursery Lunch Time Assistant and Bank Staff Cover

Hours: 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM and sessional cover when required

We are looking for someone to join our team as a lunch time assistant, Your role would be to help create a calm social time, encouraging children to engage in conversation, as well as helping to develop children’s independence and understanding of good hygiene practices. Ideally this candidate would be able to cover additional hours when required eg staff absence.

We have had an amazing summer at Castle Nursery! Children have been very busy and enjoyed the wonderful experiences we offer! It has been exciting to see how their learning and development has progressed!
