A Fond Farewell to Isaac! πŸ‘

On a day when many young people are celebrating their exam results and looking ahead to the next stage of their journey, we're also celebrating Isaac as he comes to the end of his 6-month paid placement, funded by The Holywood Trust.

Isaac joined us in February 2026 and has been a fantastic member of the team. During his time with us, he has developed valuable skills and experience that he will now take forward into his next role.

We're delighted that Isaac has secured a new job with Reuse Scotland SCIO and we wish him every success in this exciting new chapter.

Thank you, Isaac, for all your hard work, enthusiasm and contribution to the team. You've been great to have as part of our team and you will be greatly missed.

"I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity. It has helped me develop new skills, gain valuable experience, and take an important step towards a brighter future."

Good luck for the future, Isaac! πŸ€πŸŽ‰

πŸ’™ With thanks to The Holywood Trust for funding this placement opportunity and helping young people build confidence, develop new skills, gain valuable work experience, and create brighter futures. As today's exam results remind us, there are many pathways to success, and opportunities like these help young people take their next steps with confidence.

🎨✨ Inspired by Art in Our Digital Art Class! ✨🎨

One of our talented learners, Jim, has been taking inspiration from the wonderful Peploe exhibition at Kirkcudbright Galleries and bringing those influences into his own digital artwork.

Using an iPad in our digital art classes, Jim has been exploring colour, composition and style, creating some fantastic pieces of his own. It's always inspiring to see how local exhibitions can spark creativity and encourage learners to develop their artistic skills in new ways.

Well done, Jim! πŸ‘ We love seeing how art, technology and creativity come together in our classes.
