Our Uniform Swap Shop is now open at Castle Donington Community Hub!

We’re delighted to be launching our Uniform Swap Shop, helping local families save money while giving good-quality school uniform a second life.

We will be accepting and providing school uniform (subject to availability) for:
• St Edward’s Primary School
• Orchard Community Primary School
• Foxbridge Primary School
• Hemington Primary School
• Castle Donington College

Please donate clean, freshly washed school uniform that is in good condition.

Families are welcome to visit the Community Hub during library opening hours to browse the available uniform free of charge.

If you have school uniform that is worn out or no longer suitable for reuse, please don’t throw it away. Our Air Ambulance clothing reclamation bank, located at the rear of the Community Hub car park, is available for unwanted clothing and textiles.

The Uniform Swap Shop will be available throughout the summer holidays during the Community Hub’s library opening hours.

Together, we can support local families, reduce waste and make school uniform more affordable for everyone. 💚

✨ Year 3 have been busy developing their kitchen skills! ✨

In DT, our Year 3 pupils learned how to chop fruits and vegetables safely, practising careful cutting techniques and building confidence with real kitchen tools 🍎🔪🥕

They also discovered the importance of washing up their equipment and tidying their workspace after cooking — brilliant habits that help keep everyone safe, organised, and ready for the next activity 🧽✨

✨ Year 6 had an eye‑opening trip! ✨

Our pupils visited the Warning Zone in Leicester, where they learned all about risks in the environment and how to stay safe when they’re out and about in the world 🌍🛑

Inspired by their geography work on Rainforests and Rivers, our talented Year 5 pupils have been crafting clay sculptures of rainforest animals 🐆🦜🐍

Their imagination, attention to detail, and enthusiasm have truly brought these creatures to life. Such a wonderful blend of learning and creativity 🌿🎨
