Thanks very much..
We appreciate everything you do for our children.
Just a quick little post to say a big big THANK YOU to whichever kind person found my bracelet on Tue/Wed this past week. My family had hired a cottage in Cartmel last week, and without realising it I'd lost my silver charm bracelet walking into the village. Thank you to the very decent and honest person who must have spotted it and put it on the garden wall for me to find. Regardless of its expense it has great sentimental value and I'm really really chuffed you were honest. Whoever you are I hope you're reading this.....THANK YOU!! So lovely to know that there's still decent people round. ☺ xx

To celebrate National Storytelling Week, this week, all students have enjoyed participating in a whole school Story Relay! A short story titled The Mystery of Room 12 written by female, American-born English author of children’s mystery fiction Robin Stevens was split into five parts. During morning registration each day students have listened to a thought provoking instalment of the story, read and recorded by Student Librarian, Amos R (11CJ). The intriguing plot concluded today with the mystery resolved by budding young detective Jamie. I think you would agree an ideal opportunity to promote the oral tradition of storytelling; the very first way of communicating life experiences and the creative imagination.
