We have had such a busy day; dog walking, blackberry picking, park playing and a Wildlife park visit.
This week we are exploring different modes of transport so we took a trip to the country park to ride the train . . . We also go to see lots of animals and have an Ice cream treat. 🍦 🌈 🚂
We lined up to get our ticket and kept it safe for our journey and choo choo through the tunnel.

This morning we took a walk to explore Minster Lovell Ruins.
The children really loved exercising those big muscles when climbing around the ruins and really focusing on balance and spacial awareness.
We also talked about chimneys and how they went up tall.
We met some donkey friends named Sydney and Jake. 🫏
To add a perfect finish we enjoyed some bumble bee biscuits at the cafe and watched a game of football. Where we spoke about team work and how they need to work together to win the match. ⚽️
The children where even commented on how well behaved they were sat waiting for and eating their biscuits. 🐝
Very proud moment.

Exploring the sensory garden in town and Rhyme time on a British summer morning. 🎵 ☔️
Rhyme time is always such a favourite. Singing can help development in so many areas including communication and language, maths (yes maths), and Espressive arts and designs.

And don’t we all have a singing voice??? 🎶

Lovely walk around the country park this morning. Even picked a post of wildflowers. Just enough to enjoy while the bees and butterfly’s can have the rest.

We try to leave small sections in the garden untouched to try and invite all the lovely wildlife in.
