What a successful first week back after the summer holidays 😊

A massive welcome to our new starters, they have all settled in wonderfully 🥰

We started our week with a visit to the care home, the children absolutely loved this and it was so lovely seeing the children and the residence interacting and playing ❤️

Wild Wednesday was a big hit celebrating Pizza day 🍕 the children loved pretending to make pizzas with flour, we made pizza paintings using vegetables 🍄 and made Pizzas out of playdough 😋

We had a trip to handmade by Abbys this week, the children made some Autumn paintings 🍁 and spent lots of time roleplaying at the ice cream stand 🍦

We enjoyed a trip to the park, the children had great fun climbing and exploring all the equipment 🐒
We had fun during music and movement, making lots of noise with our instruments, singing our favourite songs, dancing and following actions to our favourite rhymes 🎶

We also celebrated one of our little ones birthdays with some yummy cake 😋🧁🎉

I'm also super excited to tell you all, I had my first inspection on Friday and received a grading of OUTSTANDING 🎉 I am absolutely over the moon 🥰

Happy Saturday ☀

We've had a lovely last week before breaking up for Easter 🐥

Lots of Easter crafts - Easter cards, crowns, painting and sticking 🎨

Some wonderful tuff trays, the children love exploring, emptying and filling, looking at all the different colours and materials 🐰

We had a lovely visit to crocodiles of the world. one of the children's favourites at the moment! They were absolutely mesmerised watching the crocodiles having their lunch 🐊

Lots of fun taking a football to the park, it was a little windy but that didn't stop us having fun, running around chasing the ball and practicing their kicking skills ⚽

Have a wonderful Easter holiday and enjoy lots of yummy chocolate eggs 🐰 🍫 🐥

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend 😊

This week we have grabbed every opportunity to get to the park or out in the garden and enjoy some fresh air whilst the sun is briefly out ☀

We have had fun attending playgroup, a visit to handmade by Abbys and a playdate at a fellow childminders house to play with our friends 🥰

The children enjoyed making bird feeders this week. We have been really interested in looking out for different birds and listening to the sounds they make, this was the perfect activity to encourage more birds into the garden. The children loved finding the perfect spots to hang their creations 🐦

We've been practicing our cutting skills this week, the children loved cutting up old magazines and making some lovely collages out of them ☺️

Happy Mothers day 💐 I hope you've all been spoilt by your little people today 🥰

We had a great week at Milesahead childminding. The children have been busy getting crafty for Mothers day, we hope you enjoyed our creations as much as the children enjoyed making them ☺

We attended forest school this week, the children had the best time exploring, building and investigating 🔎. The children had a great time collecting big sticks to make "a house" in the woods. This really engaged all of the children and kept their attention for a long time, we had some fantastic team work 🙌🏼

We had some lovely spring activities set up at group this week, the children loved making patterns in the sand, they even found some cars to make track marks.
We painted some beatiful butterflies and painted blossom trees using broccoli 🥦

We visited cotswold clubhouse soft play and gymnasium which was a wonderful treat. The children had a great time practicing their climbing and balancing skills with lots of their friends🤸🏽‍♂️

🦁 A trip to the wild life park, We loved visiting all of our favourite animals.
🧘🏼 Music and movement - we had lots of fun dancing, taking part in cosmic kids yoga and singing our favourite rhymes.
🐧 A visit to birdland for one of our little ones birthdays. We loved watching the penguins swim and had so much fun in the jurassic land 🦕
