📢 CRITICAL UPDATE: WE NEED YOUR HELP TO KEEP BEAVERS OPEN!📢
We are reaching out to our wonderful Corwen community with an urgent request. Our 1st Corwen Beaver Scout section is currently at risk of closing due to a shortage of volunteer leaders.

We don’t want to let our 6–8 year olds down, and we don't want to lose this vital group, but we are in desperate need of more help. Please know that you wouldn't be doing this alone - we have a fantastic existing team of volunteers who are ready to support you. If we don’t find a few more people to join our ranks, we will unfortunately have to close the section.

Could you be the person who helps us keep the adventure going?
No previous experience is needed - just a positive attitude and a desire to help. We provide full training and plenty of support. When we’ve been in similar situations before, our community has stepped up, and we are hoping for that same incredible support again! 🙌

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded our 3rd Green Flag Award for the work we do in school. This is a National Award and demonstrates our commitment to developing and safeguarding our environment.

Well,we have had our first harvest and its amazing 🥳
As you are all aware,we have been developing the garden over the last 18months and it was finally finished during the spring term in time for us to start planting. Today we have picked some of our produce - cucumbers, potatoes and tomatoes, and Aunty Catrin has prepared them for us all to have a try. All the fruit trees are growing well.
Thankyou Aunty Nicola and the pupils who have worked so hard looking after it all. And thankyou to Mr Bailey (Lowris Taid) who has helped with the produce and Uncle Gareth who waters it all when we are not here.
Great effort and we look forward to another year in our garden 😀

Donations of any unwanted good quality school uniform would be appreciated.
