An absolutely excellent workshop!

Our school staff had the opportunity to take part in this training, and it was fantastic from start to finish. We came away with so many practical tips, strategies and a much greater understanding of children’s emotions and behaviour — not only as teachers, but as parents too.

The session was engaging, thought-provoking and full of advice that can be put into practice straight away. Shannon was excellent and delivered everything in such a relatable and meaningful way.

An unmissable event for anyone working with or raising children. Highly recommended!

A huge weekend lies ahead for the Éire Óg Carrickmore Hurlers who take on Eoghan Ruadh in the Tyrone Senior Championship Final on Saturday at 3pm in Healy Park.

The whole school community is firmly behind you, and with so many aspiring hurlers and camógs among our pupils, we’ll all be hoping to see the Benburb Cup return to Carrickmore for a seventh consecutive year! 🖤💛

🤩 WIN £500 for your school or nursery/playgroup 🤩

🌎 International Credit Union Day takes place on Thursday 15th October, and we are giving away £1,500 between 3 lucky schools.

Teachers’ Credit Union celebrates this day each year by supporting local schools and this year is no different! Three people will win £500 for an NI school or nursery/playgroup of their choice!

🎒 We will be awarding £500 each to one Primary School, one Secondary School and one Nursery School or qualifying Playgroup* in Northern Ireland.

📖Author Stuart Reid visits St Colmcille's📖

We are delighted to have author Stuart Reid in the school tomorrow as part of our Book Week's activities.

Stuart is best known for the "Gorgeous George" series and "Granpa Jock" will read from his books in Foundation Stage classes and take an assembly in the afternoon.

His books will be available for purchase from 2.30pm and he will also sign books bought.
