🍂 We can't wait to welcome everyone back to Acorn IPS tomorrow! 🍂

Our staff team is looking forward to seeing all the boys and girls and hearing all about their summer adventures.

As we begin a new school year, we're taking a moment to reflect on one of our proudest achievements from last year, receiving the Excellence in Integration Award. This recognition reflects the kindness, respect, inclusion and sense of belonging that make our school community so special.

As we look ahead to 2026-2027, we're excited to continue Nurturing Growth Together and can't wait to see all the wonderful things our children will achieve in the months ahead.

🎉 Exciting News for Acorn Families!

Acorn IPS has been selected to take part in Everyone Plays, an exciting new programme from PlayBoard NI that promotes wellbeing, inclusion and fun through play.

We're inviting parents and carers to get involved by attending one online session and two in-school play sessions.

Booking for school meals and clubs will be opening soon, but please be aware that we haven't yet had notification about free meals entitlements so we are waiting for these to be added to our app.

Today, Bella bravely had 10 inches of her hair cut off to donate to the Little Princess Trust, helping children and young people who have lost their hair.

Bella and her family would like to say a huge thank you to the Acorn IPS community for your kind donations and support. Your generosity has helped make this amazing act of kindness even more special.

What an incredible June it has been for the Being Well Doing Well programme at Acorn! 🎉We joined with other schools across Northern Ireland to celebrate receiving from the EA, a Being Well Doing Well plaque in recognition of all the work being done to support the emotional health and wellbeing of our pupils and staff.
