I teach languages to very small children through puppet scenarios where every sentence is spoken in the language also in English( as in ‘Dora the Explorer’ or ‘Sesame Street’.)This way the child can see the puppets perform the actions and understand what they are saying.I repeat words and phrases at every session as this is how a baby learns to understand , copy and then speak —-and there is absolutely no pressure on the child to learn.
As little children have such short concentration abilities, we do other activities, such as colouring in( where they learn the names of body parts , some animals and colours. I am also an artist so all the colouring in material is drawn especially with the child’s interests at heart(ie mermaids, fairies, superheroes, paw patrol etc) and I also make paper dolls with clothes to teach the names of clothing.
We also do action songs to teach ‘doing words’and learning songs to ta each numbers ,days of the week etc.
Each child is different and I try to tailor the classes to their personalities.
I have devised and honed this method over the years and at present am offering a 6 week course at the greatly reduced price of £35 for 6 weeks.

I teach languages, English, French and Spanish to all ages, and find that puppet scenarios(and songs) are the best way to teach young children who are still coming to grips with their own languages. So far I have used the puppets to help teach children Spanish, but am going to also use them in a new special offer - - - a six week course in French, and they could also be adapted to help with English if a child is having difficulty in that subject.

Each class starts with a 10/15minute puppet scenario in both English and the other language, then there are learning and action songs, colouring in and/or paper dolls.

Sr.Punch has lots of adventures with his pirate friends when he meets the bad mermaid Mala Sirena and the good mermaid Buena Sirena, and lots of crocodiles!
