We have had a wonderful afternoon in the sun for our Year 6 leavers party! Games galore, a photo booth and a visit from the ice cream man too! What a super send off for our Year 6’s! Thank you to our wonderful PTA for buying us our ice creams. They were delicious!

The infants have thoroughly enjoyed their seaside holidays in the past day today.

We started out building sandcastles in groups, decorating them with shells and other natural objects.

We then worked in teams to create a Punch and Judy show. Each team were responsible for creating a part of the show. We made tickets, props, scenery and staging. One group then preformed the show to the whole school whilst we enjoyed our traditional Victorian treat of a penny lick.

Well done to our stars of the week, both of whom have been demonstrating our Christian Value of goodness.

⭐ for displaying goodness in the way he treats others and in how he works towards challenges. We have loved his post match updates throughout the World Cup as he has kept us up to date.

What a sporty week our juniors have had! Starting with the Lune Valley rounders tournament on Wednesday, our team of keen batters and fielders did a great job playing against the other schools. Always coming off the pitch with a smile on their face, no matter what the score, they showed fantastic sportsmanship and team spirit. Then on to the Lune Valley cricket competition on Thursday and we did ourselves proud again. Brilliant effort and smiles all round. A great opportunity to take part in some competitive sport. Well done to our star of the week for demonstrating our Christian Value of Goodness. She has matured over this year displaying kindness and a sharing attitude towards others. We’ve enjoyed watching her form new friendships, displaying her lovely sense of humour.

This morning we enjoyed our visit from Richard from Sports Reach - we had a fun packed time together, finding out about this summer’s activities. All children are coming home today with a flyer with information about the football and netball schools.
