What a hot and busy couple of weeks we’ve had. Painting, light panel fun, parachute games, lots of water play, ice pops to keep us cool and some special visitors.

It’s been such a busy but fun half term.

The children have been busy organising what we will grow at our allotment. They’ve planted lots of seeds and learned what they need to grow. We’ve visited the allotment, prepared the beds and planted potatoes, onions, strawberries, leeks and flowers. More will be going in over the next few weeks. We can’t wait to see what we can harvest. Our plot had rhubarb growing already so we’ve made some rhubarb fumbles already-yummy!! The children even met the hens living at the allotment and learned how to look after them. They were very excited to see an egg had been laid.

We’ve been having a great time at Playgroup over the last few weeks. Lots of fun in the sun, painting beautiful daffodils, booking holidays at the travel agents and cooking lots of yummy treats.

☀️☀️☀️The weather looks great for the next two days. Please can all children bring a sunhat with them and have suncream applied before arriving at Playgroup. A spare change of clothes should also be brought as there will be plenty of water fun taking place. Got to make the most of the sun ☀️☀️☀️
