๐Ÿ… Nursery Mini Olympics ๐Ÿ…

What a fantastic morning we had! Our Nursery children had a brilliant time taking part in all the activities and did so well throughout.

A big shout out to our wonderful Year 6s for their support. They were fantastic role models for our youngest children and helped make the morning such a success. ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐ŸŒฟ Year 3 and 4 Take on the Trail
Today it was the turn of our Year 3 and 4 children to explore the Waterfalls Trail. After learning about the insufferable midges, we mixed things up a little and approached the trail in a different way.

Once again, the children were amazing โ€” curious, resilient and full of thoughtful observations. Weโ€™re looking forward to taking all of this learning back into the classroom and building on their discoveries.

A huge thank you to Ingleton Waterfalls Trail

๐ŸŒฟ Exploring the Waterfalls Trail
Yesterday our Year 5 and 6 children set off along the Waterfalls Trail to discover some of the unique geology that shapes this incredible landscape. From limestone features to the power of flowing water, they were full of curiosity and great questions throughout the day.

They also tried their hand at a little fieldwork โ€” observing and gathering ideas to bring back into the classroom. A brilliant mix of learning, fresh air, and teamwork.

๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟOur final morning was spent exploring The National Museum of Scotland which our Year 6's absolutely loved. From dinosaur fossils to Formula 1 racing cars, the children saw it all and loved travelling round the different rooms. In the afternoon, we stopped at Princes Street Gardens for a picnic in the sunshine before departing for home. A fab few days spent in Edinburgh with our wonderful Year 6's. Thank you for a great time and for being so much fun!

A little snap shot into what has been happening in our KS2 Forest School sessions over the last few weeks!

We have been incredibly busy putting our knowledge and skills into practice, using ropes, shelters, fire and nature to create some amazing projects. From building swings and ladders to designing models and even making delicious wild garlic bread, every session has been filled with creativity, problem-solving and adventure.
Most importantly, each activity has been underpinned by fantastic collaboration, communication and teamwork. It has been wonderful to see our children supporting one another, sharing ideas and working together to achieve great things.
We are so proud of their enthusiasm, resilience and growing confidence in the outdoors!

๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟDay two saw us take a trip to Edinburgh Castle before a frightful afternoon in the Edinburgh Dungeons. The fright soon turned to fun and we would like to say a huge thank you to the PTA who funded a really special evening for us all - the children absolutely loved taking on the teachers at Bowling! Another wonderful day in Edinburgh. ๐ŸŽณ
