⚽ What a fantastic afternoon of football! ⚽

Today we hosted the North Craven Football Tournament, welcoming schools from across the cluster for a wonderful afternoon of footy, organised by Settle College.

We were delighted to have six teams from across Key Stage 2 taking part. It was amazing to see so many children getting involved, showing great teamwork, enthusiasm and sportsmanship! 🙌

A huge thank you to all our staff who stepped into the role of football coaches for the day, to Mr Shepherd for organising everything for us, and to Mr Harrison and the fantastic Settle College sixth form pupils for leading such a brilliant event.

Well done to everyone who took part! 👏⚽

Wensleydale have been exploring gestural drawing with charcoal, using their hands to make expressive marks.
They listened to different pieces of music, let the sounds guide their drawing, then looked at how the marks changed with each clip.
Apologies if any children came home with sooty noses!

Our Early Years children in Nursery and Reception have settled into school wonderfully. It has been lovely to see them already feeling happy, confident and at home as they play, explore and learn in our gorgeous provision. It really is a magical place with so much to discover! What a fantastic start for them! 💛✨

🌳🦖 Barbondale and Wensleydale joined together for some fantastic forest fun! 🌲

Working in teams, the children designed and built super shelters for their dinosaurs! They used all their skills, creativity and problem-solving abilities and their shelters certainly passed the rain test! ☔️👏

Not only did we develop our teamwork, communication, creativity and problem-solving skills, but we had an absolutely amazing time doing it!

There’s something so special about watching the children explore, climb, laugh and discover in the woods. It gives them such a wonderful sense of freedom.

And, of course, no forest session would be complete without a game of Tree Ninjas! 🥷🌳

Our children had a great time competing alongside other primary schools from our local cluster. There was some fantastic rugby! We are super proud of all our children for representing our school so brilliantly and showing such great sportsmanship.

A huge thank you to North Ribblesdale Rugby Club for hosting such a fantastic event.

What better way to relaunch our page than by celebrating this wonderful lady!

This week marked an incredible 35 years of Mrs Denby working at Ingleton Primary School — what an achievement!

Mrs Denby is truly worth her weight in gold and is such a valued and important part of our school family.

We all gathered together this week to celebrate her incredible milestone and present her with a special certificate and some gifts.

Thank you, Ann, for all that you do. You really are one very special lady! 💕 x
