We are so excited to reveal our brand new KS1 outdoor space!

Cedars pupils now have a vibrant, engaging area to explore, play and learn. From hands-on activities to creative play, this new environment will make a huge difference difference to our children’s daily learning and wellbeing.

This fantastic project simply wouldn’t have happened without incredible community support:

- a massive thank you to our hardworking PTA for their relentless fundraising dedication and support, purchasing the astroturf and wooden edging as well as coming in to fit it in the school holidays!
- a special thank you to YPO for generously donating wonderful resources to help us kit out the space!

The children have already started exploring the area and we cannot wait to see all the wonderful learning and adventures ahead!

Pines Weekly Update 🌳

What another fantastic week in Pines Class! We have been loving reading ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ and bringing the story to life through dressing up and story telling in our forest area. In Understanding the World, we have been developing our map-reading skills and creating our own maps of our school. We are also smashing phonics lessons, which are helping us to read and write. This week, we enjoyed our very first Forest School session, which was topped off perfectly with delicious hot chocolate and biscuit. Finally, we took part in our first whole-school worship, making it a week full of exciting experiences. We are so proud of you all. Keep up the amazing work! 🌟
