As we come to the end of another academic year, we’d like to thank all the staff and parents of Ysgol Llangain, and the wider community, for their support over the last year. It has been an incredibly positive year for fundraising and future opportunities for the pupils, capped off with the awarding of the school’s Platinum Eco Schools award- an amazing achievement for the pupils!
Our thoughts however today are with the pupils, staff and families of Ysgol Llansteffan. Attending for their final day this term, after which the doors of the school will close forever. Forever disappointed in the decisions of Cyngor Sir Gâr - Carmarthenshire County Council for putting the weight of budget cuts onto the youngest members of the community and expect that Ysgol Llangain will be supported fully, financially and pastorally, by the council to ensure that all pupils and staff in September are able to settle, feel welcome and progress following their choice.
