Kintsugi in Wales
Broken a special pot and wish you could repair it ??
The mindful Japanese Art of Kintsugi is only a workshop away. Working with RakuMania, Clara Bethell-Sacks (www.clarakintsugi.com) is coming to Carmarthen, Wales to run 2 workshops on the 11th October 2026. There are only 8 places left in each session.
Cost £70 including all materials, tuiton and refereshments. Discount available to members of South Wales Potters.
You’re welcome to bring a small ceramic piece (under 20cm) with a simple break. Open forms and pieces with accessible joins work best, but other shapes can work too, depending on the break.
If you’re unsure whether your piece is suitable, bring it along and Clara will advise on the day if possible to use. A selection of pieces will also be available to choose from on the day or you could bring along a dish, plate etc and Clara would carefully break it to repair.
