What’s the one thing that helped your child settle into school or nursery?

As we come to the end of another wonderful nursery year, we just want to say how incredibly proud we are of all of our children. Watching them grow in confidence, learn new skills, and make lasting friendships has been such a joy.

A huge good luck to all of our preschoolers graduating today and getting ready to start school. We have loved being part of your journey and can't wait to see all the amazing things you'll achieve in this exciting new chapter.

Thank you so much to all our wonderful families for your thoughtful cards, presents, and gifts. Your kindness and support mean so much to us.

We hope you all have a fantastic, fun-filled summer, and we look forward to seeing many of you again soon!

School readiness: How to prepare your child for school How can you help your child get school ready? We go through some useful hints and tips to help grow your child's confidence ready for starting school.

Nursery Update ☀️

As the weather continues to be warm, we would like to remind families of the following:

* We have sun hats and sun shades available when the children are outdoors.
* Please apply sun cream to your child before they arrive at nursery. This can be done at home or upon arrival. Applying sun cream to 15–20 eager children at once can be challenging, so your support is greatly appreciated.
* If your child requires a specific brand of sun cream, please provide this for us.

During hot weather, we will ensure children have:

- Regular water breaks
- Ice pops
- Plenty of ice and water play activities to help keep cool

If temperatures remain high or continue to rise, we may stay indoors and make use of the air conditioning to ensure everyone remains comfortable and safe.

Please also:

* Bring plenty of spare clothes and socks, as we will not be using waterproofs in this heat.
* Ensure your child wears suitable closed-toe footwear. Sandals and Crocs should not be worn.

We are fortunate to have access to the lounge area when needed, which provides an additional cool and comfortable space for the children to play during these extreme temperatures.
