St David’s day celebrations at preschool today : welsh cakes, daffodils and our very own welsh lady MRS BRAVO !

We are hoping to reopening on Monday 22nd February for all our children .

St Peter’s preschool will be closed until 11th January due to Covid -19

Trees again today. This time planting sprouting acorns which will hopefully grow into big oak trees! Mrs Bravo had the inspiration to do this last week and Countryfile also shared it in their programme last Sunday.

We have forwarded this picture to Countryfile. Hope for an update in a few months 🌳

Our children have created laminated Christmas trees ( so they can be wiped clean and free from virus) to deliver to Carlisle hospital to send a little Christmas cheer to the patients and staff x

We carried on learning about our apples in the classroom. The children built apple towers and made up stories about them. The best part was when we tasted them and compared the sweet ones to the sour ones. 🍎🍏

We set the children a challenge for Children in Need. Could they work together to slide 100 times?
Of course they could 😀 and they achieved this in just 11 minutes!
Big well done to Brooklyn who managed to slide 29 times on his own 🥇
