Cherry Tree Nursery & Pre-School

Our lovely pre-schoolers have enjoyed the morning out to tullie house and due to the kindness of one of our parents they paid the admission price for the staff!
That was such a kind gesture and we are really lucky to have some many wonderful families within our setting!

We’ve had a fantastic month at nursery, filled with exciting tuff trays, creative activities, and lots of learning through play.

A special shout-out to Jen and the baby room team for creating some amazing tuff tray experiences throughout June. The children’s engagement and enjoyment have been wonderful to see! 💚

☀️ With the hot weather set to continue, we wanted to reassure families that all rooms in the nursery are fully air-conditioned to help keep children cool and comfortable throughout the day.

To avoid the hottest part of the day, children will not be playing outside between 11am and 3pm, when temperatures are at their highest. We’ll still be enjoying outdoor play at cooler times of the day and making the most of lots of fun indoor activities.

Please can we ask that children come dressed in weather-appropriate clothing and bring a named sun hat. We provide sun cream and will ensure this is applied throughout the day as needed.

Our pre-school and 2–3’s came together and had a fantastic time washing Katelyn’s car — she’s never seen it so clean! 🚗🧽

They have also been practising some relaxing yoga 🧘 which helped them stretch their bodies, focus their breathing and enjoy some calm time together.

Katelyn and Hannah have had a very busy week full of fun and activities with our pre-schoolers!
