We've just had a visit from the Cumbria in Bloom judges to tell us how we got on....
The judges commended us on the variety of biodiversity in our grounds, participation in gardening activity by pupils across the school, vegetable growing and, of course, our leeks!

This year's leek lift was another success. Ramson had the best pair, with Speedwell a close second. We have two good 'uns to enter into local shows tomorrow and some to give to the kitchen.

If you like leek and potato soup we'll have the rest and some tatties for sale next week.
Thank you to Harry Grant for doing the lift and cleanup with our year sixes today and David for officiating the measuring and judging.
