RRCA Sixth Form Open Evening

Central academy - Sixth form recruitment day

To give students, and young people across the local community, the opportunity to learn more about the Sixth Form, the academy will be hosting a sign-up day on Friday 26th August between 9am and 12 pm. All are welcome to attend.

Sixth Form Induction Day is on Friday 26th where staff will be on hand to discuss our pathways to success - in the footsteps of our amazing Year 13s! Well done again!

Sixth Form benefitted from a talk from the University of Cumbria today to discuss the steps to take to select a university course and prepare evidence and examples for Personal Statements and job applications. The opportunity to ask questions from the experts will really benefit the Year 12s before their university and apprenticeship fair next Friday.

We cannot wait to see you this Wednesday from 16.00 at our Open Evening for Sixth Form. Take the opportunity to speak to teachers and current students and attend one of the information talks with Mr Markham (Principal) and Mr Howarth (Assistant Principal for KS5 and outcomes) at 16:30 and 17:30.

Please visit our Open Evening event on Wednesday 19th January 2022 at 16:00 with the subject teachers and students who will be presenting on their subjects and will be prepared to answer your questions.

There will be a Q&A after the presentations hosted by Mr Markham (Principal) and Mr Howarth (Assistant Principal for KS5 and outcomes) at 16:30 and 17:30 and all are welcome to attend.

The presentation will be recorded and shared for those who are unable to make the event, but we look forward to seeing you there.
