Free Course

At BTP, we appreciate that a lot of our construction workers skills lie primarily in the physical work that they do on a daily basis.

However, on a regular basis, we see learners faced with doing assessments (multiple choice) and they struggle to understand some of the questions.

This is despite how well they operate on a daily basis and do a great job and are more than capable of verbally answering the questions. (Point to note - if told in advance of these assessments, we can arrange extra assistance.)

Have you heard of Skills Bridge (Cumbria's Gateway to Workforce Excellence)?

If you are employed in the construction industry and find that you are struggling, we have organised a free course, designed by Skills Bridge.

Come along and get help with developing your English language skills, ie your reading skills and your verbal communication.

Everyone there will be in the same boat. The atmosphere will be relaxed and non-judgemental. There's no 'classroom environment' and there'll even be tea and coffee!

Get in touch for more details.
