🏡🕰️✨ A New Chapter for Messy Play at Curiosity Cottage!✨🕰️🏡

I’m so excited to share that messy play is merging with my permanent home at Curiosity Cottage- Carlisle

This means I’ll be offering weekly messy play and younger years open-ended play sessions, coming together as our new “Nana’s Kitchen Cupboard” sessions on Friday mornings🥣🎨✨

A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way — whether you’ve brought your little ones to a party, joined a messy play session, or even remember the earlier days of craft sessions. ♥️

Seeing children explore, create, experiment and get wonderfully messy is still very much at the heart of everything I’m creating at Curiosity Cottage. It would be absolutely wonderful to welcome you there and continue sharing those special moments together. 🌿✨🧶

Please like and follow Curiosity Cottage to keep up to date with all that’s happening — not only our messy play and open-ended play sessions, but also our family events and everything else happening at the cottage.

📅 This page will close from 14th September, so please make sure you’re following Curiosity Cottage so you don’t miss what comes next!

Thank you, as always, for being part of this journey. 💕I can’t wait to see you at the cottage!

Hi Everyone, as many of you know I’m currently in the process of setting up my business over at the cottage (name change pending!).

So I’d just like to share with you my new weekly messy play class starting in September 🧺🤎 Nana’s Cupboard — Messy Play Curiosity Cabin- Carlisle 🍁

Come and step inside Nana’s Cupboard, where little hands are encouraged to explore, squish, splash, scoop, sprinkle… and get wonderfully messy! 🥣💦🌿

Inspired by the simple joys of childhood and those wonderful treasures you might once have discovered tucked away in Nana’s kitchen cupboards, our weekly messy play sessions are created for little explorers aged 1 year upwards.

Each week, there’s a new invitation to explore…

✨ Squishy sensory textures
🥣 Messy mixtures to scoop, pour and stir
💦 Splashy water play
🌿 Natural treasures to discover
🎨 Creative mark-making
👐 Hands-on, child-led exploration

There’s no right or wrong way to play at Nana’s Cupboard. Little ones can follow their curiosity, investigate at their own pace and discover through their senses.

Because sometimes the very best childhood moments are the messy ones…

Flour-covered little hands.
Fingers squishing through something wonderfully gooey.
A splash of water that turns into a fit of giggles.
The excitement of discovering something completely new. 🥰

And while the little ones explore, there’s time for grown-ups to slow down too — to play, connect, chat and make those precious memories together.

At Curiosity Cottage, we believe childhood doesn’t need to be complicated. Sometimes it’s the simple, sensory, slightly messy moments that become the memories we treasure most. 🤎

🌿 Nana’s Cupboard is for 1 year+
🧺 Sensory & Messy Play
🎨 Creative Exploration
👐 Child-Led Play
🌿 Indoor & Outdoor Adventures

Come and make a mess… Nana won’t mind!🥣🤎

🍂 Our Autumn Term is now available to book. 🍂
